Student-Led Mural Brings Welcome Center to Life: A Showcase of Creativity and BK Spirit

We are delighted to announce the completion of a stunning new mural in our Welcome Center, created as the senior project of Haleigh Ververs Cruz, a rising senior at BK. Haleigh envisioned, designed, and, with the help of two classmates, painted the mural over the summer. Using a projector to outline the design, the team meticulously brought the vibrant scene to life.
The Welcome Center, a new space dedicated to welcoming prospective students and families, showcases BK’s commitment to fostering student passion and encouraging challenging projects that benefit our community. This mural is a testament to the autonomy and responsibility our students are given, a unique feature of the BK experience. We are immensely proud of Haleigh’s accomplishment and look forward to formally celebrating this inspiring space during Homecoming Weekend.
