ROCHESTER, N.Y. — As a program, BK Selects has been here before.
Four years ago, the 16U team broke through for the program’s first USA Nationals championship. The next spring, the 14Us went all the way.
The quest for national crown No. 3 reaches its crescendo next week in America’s Midwest, as BK’s 15O team heads to Green Bay, Wisconsin, and the 14U squad travels to Plymouth, Michigan, to finish the 2025-26 season at Nationals.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - It was an unforgettable weekend for the athletes of Bishop Kearney High School as teams delivered a remarkable run of championship performances across multiple sports. In a span of just a few days, BK celebrated three state hockey championships while the Boys Varsity Basketball team captured a sectional title.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — There’s a reason the BK Selects boys teams value their membership in the Northeast Pack Hockey League.
While every team under the USA Hockey umbrella aspires to make the regular season a training ground for their state playoffs and — ideally — the Nationals, BK Selects believes its participation in the famously competitive NE Pack provides a unique opportunity to prepare for the must-win games at the end of winter.
And that goes regardless of whether they win or lose.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. —In a season that has featured more than a few obstacles for the BK Selects 16U girls, they arrive now at an opportunity.
Win the New York state tournament this weekend and they’ll earn their way to USA Hockey Nationals.
That’s the deal every season, but after a challenging five months, this time of year might feel especially refreshing for Head Coach Jake Anderson’s team.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — There’s everything else in the world of sport … and then there’s the Olympics.
With apologies to the annual slate of International Ice Hockey Federation events, NCAA regular-season and postseason play, and the trailblazing action of the PWHL, there’s something about competing under those five rings that inspires another level of pride and passion.
And for the eight former BK Selects players who made various Olympic rosters for the 25th edition of the Winter Games, to be held this February in northern Italy, it can be difficult to put the accomplishment into the context of their other athletic triumphs.
ROCHESTER, NY — BK celebrates national and global spotlight, including a hometown Olympian from the Rochester/Webster community.
