Students from the Bishop Kearney High School Theatre Program took center stage at the 2026 RBTL Stars of Tomorrow Gala, earning recognition for their outstanding performances, dedication, and artistry throughout this year’s musical season.

The annual gala, hosted by the Rochester Broadway Theatre League, celebrates excellence in high school musical theatre across the Greater Rochester region. Bishop Kearney students were honored among some of the area’s most talented young performers and technicians.

Leading the evening was junior Parker Riordan '27, who was selected as a NYC Bound finalist — an elite honor awarded to only a small group of students chosen from more than 200 participants across the region. Recognized for his performance as Nick Bottom in Bishop Kearney’s spring musical, Parker Riordan '27 will advance to compete for the opportunity to represent Rochester at the prestigious Jimmy Awards in New York City later this month.

Our Something Rotten! cast performed an incredible showstopping showcase number at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre, performing for a soul-out crowd of over 2,200 people! In addition to our casts performance we are beyond proud to share that Bishop Kearney was recognized in every major award category at this year's gala!
